Usage

Slab formwork / falsework is used for horizontal cast-in-place concrete structures.

Popular systems

Most popular systems for these types of work are PERI Multiprop and Skydeck, Doka H20, Hünnebeck Topec and GASS as well as Alshor Plus from RMD Kwikform and Titan from Ishebeck.

There are various ways for slab formwork / falswork use:

Traditional strike and erect

It is individual aluminium or timber primary, secondary beam and plywood system which are connected to each other.

This scenario is best for complex shape or low buildings.

Modular slab formwork

It is certain size panel and primary beam system which are connected to each other using individual components.

This formwork can be also used in complex shape and low buildings. One of the advantages of the modular slab formwork system is it’s fast erection time.

Table slab formwork

It is aluminium or timber primary, secondary beam and plywood system which are connected to each other such that it creates certain size of the deck and can be crane lifted and re-used without dismantling along the whole project.

This system is most suitable for large area and tall buildings.

Back-propping

It is an individual propping scenario for recently cast slab to support it and transfer the excessive loadings from the upper temporary structures.
